We are seeking a dedicated Finance Officer to manage financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all processes while supporting our commitment to outstanding service and organizational success.

As the Finance Officer, you will:

• Take responsibility for accurately entering all outstanding invoices into the hotel’s accounts payable system, ensuring correct allocation to general codes.
• You will prepare all cheques and process payments promptly to maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Monitor and reconcile creditor statements regularly to keep the hotel’s accounts current.
• Assist all departments promptly with any expense-related inquiries, providing clear and helpful support.
• Ensure that, prior to month-end, all unpaid invoices are entered into the accounts payable system for accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and maintain all month-end accounts payable reports, including purchase journals, aged payables, and cheque registers, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Support other general accounting duties as needed, contributing to the success of our exceptional Finance team.

About You:

• Relevant education and proven experience in a similar finance or accounting role
• Full working rights in Australia
• Eager and enthusiastic to advance your career
• Self-motivated, driven, and energized by working in a fast-paced environment
• Equipped with smart problem-solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Willingness to undergo a police check as part of the recruitment process
