Job SummaryThe Finance Trainee supports the Finance Department in delivering accurate financial management and maintaining the highest standards of financial control within a luxury hotel environment. This role offers exposure to luxury hospitality finance operations, ensuring precision, confidentiality, and excellence aligned with premium guest service standards.
The trainee will gain hands-on experience across accounting functions, financial reporting, revenue monitoring, and cost control while contributing to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in daily accounting operations following luxury hospitality standards and internal controls.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with high attention to accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor and verify revenue streams including rooms, F&B outlets, events, spa, and ancillary services.
- Assist in preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and departmental budget analyses.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and financial data validation.
- Support cost control initiatives to ensure profitability without compromising luxury service quality.
- Collaborate with operational departments (Front Office, F&B, Events, Purchasing) to maintain financial accuracy.
- Assist with internal audits and compliance with corporate policies and luxury brand standards.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding financial and business information.
- Strong interest in luxury hospitality operations.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
