FLEX Manager, Customer Onboarding

Marriott International is seeking a FLEX Manager, Customer Onboarding, to join our Procurement Operations team. Procurement Operations is responsible for leading core functions such as governance, vendor support, technology, reporting, and management of revenues and receivables.  

The FLEX Manager oversees the technical onboarding of new customers onto Procurement Services technology platforms, gathering critical data about the users, items, suppliers and programs in scope, building supplier/customer relationships in reporting and systems, and ensuring accurate system setup across different platforms. The role focuses on facilitating, validating, and optimizing the technical onboarding processes to support a seamless customer transition on to Procurement Services technology. The FLEX Manager also provides troubleshooting support to resolve any ongoing issues.

Required Experiences

  • 3+ years of experience working in a Procurement function, or in a function providing technical support to customers
  • Experience using or supporting Procure-to-Pay platforms

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end onboarding of new customers into the Procurement Services program including technology and reporting
  • Conduct onboarding meetings and product demos to socialize the Procurement Services program to potential suppliers and customers
  • Capture customer feedback and analyze insights and feedback to help enhance future iterations of the program
  • Build and maintain strong supplier and customer relationships by driving a smooth, seamless transition into the program
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ongoing issues, while continuously optimizing implementation processes to improve efficiency and overall customer experience.
