FLEX Recruiting Coordinator, University Relations

Position Summary

This is a 12 week temporary position.

The FLEX Recruiting Coordinator will provide support to the Voyage Program recruitment process. In support of the University Relations Team, this person will review applications in Marriott’s applicant tracking system and manage the initial candidate experience. In support of our campus recruiting season, this individual will also assist in the planning and execution of campus events and interviewing candidates as needed. This role will also perform administrative duties such as assist in requisition building, pre-employment checks and other administrative procedures relating to the successful recruiting, execution, and onboarding of future talent.
 

Expected Contributions

This is a fully remote position.

Business/Functional Results

·       Track the status of leadership candidates in ATS and move candidates through the recruiting process.

·       Review skills and experience required for the role. Thoroughly screen applications from candidates.

·       Disposition candidates as needed and provide clear and timely communication of status

·       Assist with Paradox reporting and administration.

·       Assist or prepare correspondence as requested

·       Troubleshoot all issues in a timely fashion

·       Support development of best practices across the team. Seek feedback on work and adjust accordingly, with an eye toward continuous improvement.

·       Perform other related duties as assigned.

Managing Execution

·       Processes applicants and candidates throughout the applicant tracking system, timely and accurately with compliance policies

·       Provides recruiting activity reports to Sr. Manager, as requested

·       Partners with Sr. Manager to aggressively manage all activities on assigned college requisitions
 

 

Candidate Profile - Key Talents and Experience Desired

Experience and Skills

·       Two+ years of coordination of recruiting activities preferred.

·       Two+ years of hospitality experience preferred

·       Strong understanding of roles within the hospitality industry

·       Ability to function well in a high-paced, repetitive, and at times stressful environment.

·       High-detail orientation in all things.

·       Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet or related software including Applicant Tracking Systems.

·       Demonstrated experience in effective decision-making and problem-solving

·       Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

·       Ability to work from home and independently in driving results for the business and in recruitment efforts

·       Strong relationship building skills required

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

·       Possesses exceptionally strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

·       Ability to navigate many technical platforms, websites and social media venues

 

Education or Certification

Required

·       High School Diploma or equivalent 

Preferred

·       4-year college degree

·       Certified trainer; TCII certified 

·       Voyage Program graduate
