FLEX Senior Manager, Opera Cloud

This is a temporary position.

We are seeking a hospitality leader with hotel systems and operation experience, particularly with OPERA v5.6, OPERA Cloud, LightSpeed, STAY PMS, FOSSE, and/or FSPMS. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team are essential. Experience with international teams and supporting global systems is preferred. Additional qualifications include strong presentation skills and attention to detail. Core responsibilities include supporting system deployment as well as all aspects of the product lifecycle.  Testing support including developing and refining acceptance test scenarios, conducting system user acceptance testing, managing and maintaining defects in Jira, and reporting out on progress. The role involves working with Agile Scrum methodologies, analyzing and documenting business processes, incident management, providing subject matter expertise on property management systems, supporting change management materials, and partnering with IT to manage business requests.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE
 

Education and Experience 

 

Required 

  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related major plus 5+ years of hospitality leadership experience OR related work experience
  • 3+ years of hotel systems experience or other relevant experiences using OPERA, Lightspeed, FSPMS and/or FOSSE
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with others in a cross-functional team

     

Preferred

  • Experience working with international teams and supporting global systems and operational processes 
  • Equipped with strong presentation, verbal and written skills, attention to detail
  • Comfortable in a deadline driven environment often with changing business priorities

 

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES  

  • - Refine and write acceptance test scenarios, develop corresponding test scripts, execute testing scripts, and execute testing cycles to validate system functionality.
  • - Collaborate with stakeholders and Continent Business Leaders to validate all Test Scenarios and ensure alignment with business requirements Manage and track defects using JIRA, including documentation, prioritization, and resolution follow-up Utilize Jira and Confluence to support tracking, reporting, and documentation of testing and system activities. 
  • - Incident Management 
  • - Analyze and document current and future state business processes and identify operational and system enhancement opportunities 
  • - Support configuration, setup, and management of OPERA Cloud to align with business and operational requirements 
  • - Support deployment activities, including cutover planning and post-go-live stabilization efforts 
  • - Develop and maintain change management materials, training resources, and knowledge base articles (MGS/KB) 
  • - Analyze data and feedback to provide recommendations and drive continuous improvement
  • - Provide operational input into system support processes and ongoing enhancements
