The FLEX Senior Manager, Global Property Management Systems Readiness, is part of the Global Operations (GO) department, where we strive to enhance the guest experience, creating value for both guests and owners while upholding authentic hospitality. This position is part of the GO Global Property Management Systems team. It will support the deployment and future Property Management System (PMS) cloud strategy. This role provides system-agnostic operational and functional support across all hotel operating models and brands, ensuring our PMS ecosystem enables efficient operations, consistent service delivery, and seamless integration with enterprise systems. The Senior Manager will support the coordination, planning, requirements definition, and execution needed for PMS enhancements, deployments, integrations, in tool support and modernization efforts. Responsibilities include providing PMS subject matter expertise, assessing operational impacts, developing business and operational processes, and deployment and business readiness initiatives. The FLEX Senior Manager, Global Property Management Systems will work closely with global and continent stakeholders, Global Technology, vendors, and cross-functional teams to support the Digital & Technology Transformation program and key PMS initiatives.
CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience Required 4-year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major plus 5+ years of hospitality leadership experience, OR related work experience 3+ years of hotel systems experience or other relevant experiences using LightSpeed PMS, FOSSE, FSPMS, and/or Opera Strong oral and written communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with others in a cross-functional team Experience working with international teams and supporting global systems and operational processes Preferred Recommended experience including subject-matter expertise and operational, technical, testing or development experience with the property management platforms. Operational competencies include experience hotel operations experience with FSPMS, FOSSE, LSPMS, and MARSHA, or comparable experience Equipped with strong presentation, verbal and written skills, attention to detail Comfortable in a deadline-driven environment, often with changing business priorities
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES PMS Strategy, Expertise & Operational Alignment Support the development and evolution of Marriott’s multi-platform cloud PMS strategy solutions. Analyze and document current and future state business processes across brands and operating models, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Provide PMS subject matter expertise to guide requirements, integrations, enhancements, and operational decisions. Evaluate PMS impacts for new openings, conversions, and enterprise initiatives to ensure operational readiness and alignment with brand and owner expectations. Stakeholder Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnerships Partner with Continent Business Leaders, Global Learning, Global Technology, Deployment Services, and vendor teams to interpret requirements and align PMS solutions with operational needs. Support in tool support development and maintenance Communicate risks, impacts, and solution recommendations to support informed decision-making across business and technology stakeholders. Documentation, Training Support & Governance Contribute to the creation and maintenance of business process documentation, operational procedures, and best practices applicable across multiple PMS platforms. Assist in developing training materials, e-learning content, in tool support job aids, and FAQs to support property onboarding and user adoption. Use Jira, Confluence, and related tools to track requirements, document decisions, and maintain visibility into enhancements, integrations, and deployments. Ensure documentation is accurate, user-focused, and aligned with operational workflows, brand standards, and global policy requirements. Analyze current and future state business processes, identify operational needs and improvement opportunities, and provide data-driven recommendations. Support change management activities and maintain MGS pages and other key documentation.
