FLEX Senior Quality Engineer

Role Summary

Join the Enterprise Quality Engineering organization as a FLEX Senior Quality Engineer within the Performance Tower. This role is responsible for driving performance testing excellence, leading initiatives that ensure robust, scalable, and high-performing enterprise applications. You will collaborate across architecture, engineering, and operations teams to deliver outcomes through advanced QE automation and performance methodologies.


 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Performance Testing Initiatives: Guide the implementation and execution of performance testing strategies using tools such as Neoload, K6, dynatrace, grail and grafana.
  • Drive Automation and DevSecOps Integration in Enterprise Performance Quality Engineering: Champion the adoption of test automation and DevSecOps tools (e.g., Git, JIRA, Ant, Maven, Harness) to streamline performance validation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with highly technical architecture, engineering, and operations teams to resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize system efficiency.
  • Methodology Leadership: Guide teams in adopting BDD, TDD, and related software development approaches to enhance performance outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Governance and Risk Management: Oversee deployment governance for performance-critical applications, ensuring transparency and minimizing risks.

 

Required Skills & Experience

·       Proven experience with performance testing tools (Neoload, K6) and automation frameworks.

·       Very good experience in identifying performance issues and root cause analysis using APM tools such as Dynatrace, grail and Grafana.

·       Experience with DevSecOps tools and practices. Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and influencing skills.

·       Ability to guide implementation of BDD, TDD, and related approaches.

·       Undergraduate degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience/certification.

 

Preferred Qualifications

·       Demonstrated success leading medium- to large-scale performance initiatives or transformations.

·       Proven knowledge of Agile methodology (preferably SAFe Agile).

·       Experience with mixed and offshore delivery models.

·       Strong process management, negotiation, and problem resolution skills.

·       Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments.

·       Understanding business environment, service requirements, and hospitality culture.

·       Ability to assess client needs, creatively approach solutions, and influence appropriate courses of action.

·       Ability to communicate technology lifecycles and strategies.
