FLEX Sr Program Specialist, Media Ops
Marriott International HQAs a member of the Riott Media Sales team, the Sr. Program Specialist will report to the Riott Media MVP of Sales and perform sales team go-to-market and support tasks, project-oriented functions, and administrative tasks for the growth of the media network and marketing capabilities strategies Marriott International is pursuing. The role will primarily support Marriott’s new commerce media network, Riott Media, but also support cross-functional work between Riott Media and the audience strategy, data activation, and marketing operations teams..
This role requires an interest in being a key support pillar for the growth of the marketing capabilities areas and Riott Media and in particular its sales function.
The candidate should be naturally curious and be interested in learning about media sales, the MarTech/AdTech ecosystem, marketing operations, and media network landscape.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience Required
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong project management and organization skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results, effectively, prioritize, and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Professional demeanor, capable of expressing confident, independent judgment.?
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams and other software for simple editing
Education and Experience Preferred
- Knowledge or experience in digital media or sales role
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Project Support
- Run existing reports from sales and marketing tracking systems
- Work across team to collect and track down relevant updates for communications.
Program Administration
- Support VP of Sales and other VPs of the Riott Media and Marketing Capabilities team with calendar and expense management, meeting scheduling, meeting notes and content.
- Coordinate, schedule, and prepare for team, group, and other general meetings, scheduling conference rooms, preparing agenda items, prior distribution of materials, coordinating visitors access, room set up, audio visual equipment set up, conference line initiation, and food and beverage arrangements.
- Make travel arrangements and coordinate logistics including transportation, reservations, and lodging arrangements. Handle expense reimbursements.
- Processes invoices, maintaining tracking of processing status and payments.
- Supports teams access to critical systems.

- Informs, updates, and provides information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, MS Teams or in person in a timely manner.
- Attends and participates in all relevant meetings.
- Presents ideas, expectations, and information in a concise, organized manner.

- Maintains positive working relations with internal customers and department managers.
- Manages time effectively and conducts activities in an organized manner.
- Performs other reasonable duties as assigned by manager.
