Reporting to the FB Director, the Floor Supervisor (Maître) will be part of the passioned F&B team, proud to engage our guests and to create exquisite moments in the unique atmosphere at our LUMEN Cocktails & Cuisine and at the Lumen Garden, a real urban oasis in the city center.

YOUR CHALLENGE
The Floor Supervisor (Maître) plays a key role in our outlet, in charge to supervise all the bar and restaurant area and organize the best service for our guests, always with positive attitude and spirit to provide unique experiences for guests.
TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES
- Assist the Bar Manager in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and motivating and coaching employees.
- Supervise and ensure the cleaning of working areas
- Represent and be the face of the hotel/bar to all guests.
- Engage guests and maintain a focus on St. Regis Standards and brand identity.
- Check quality and quantity of all stock and supplies.
- Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs promptly.
- Participate and support events and daily rituals.
- Welcome guests and be the St. Regis brand ambassador;
- Manage guests’ requests and complaints in line with our service culture.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and brand identity guidelines.
- Comply with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policies.
- Balance the cash register at the start and close of each shift.
- Order and restock bar inventory (Requisitions, fruit orders...).
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
- Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
- Possess a good command of English and Italian.
- Great storytelling skills.
- An excellent verbal manner and proven customer service skills.
- Good knowledge or experience of the hospitality industry.
- Good organization skills with an attention to detail.
- A team Player with flexible & positive attitude.
- Good leadership and training experience.
- Passion for the hospitality industry.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment & remain calm under pressure.
- Be able to demonstrate experience in complaint handling.
- Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance.
- Availability to work late nights, weekends and bank holiday as we operate 365 days a year.
