The role

  • Drive the overall performance of the Food & Beverage department, delivering exceptional guest experiences, achieving revenue targets and upholding Marriott brand standards.
  • Lead and manage all food and beverage operations, including restaurant, bar and banquet services, ensuring operational excellence across all outlets.
  • Oversee outlet performance, labour costs, inventory management, compliance, service delivery and day-to-day operations.
  • Own the financial performance of the department, including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, profitability and the implementation of initiatives that enhance commercial outcomes.
  • Develop, coach and inspire a high-performing leadership team, providing direction, accountability and mentorship while building a strong succession pipeline.
  • Lead strategic and operational improvements that enhance guest satisfaction, team engagement, productivity and overall business performance.
  • Create a positive team culture through hands-on leadership, training and development, ensuring associates feel valued, supported and empowered to succeed.
  • Build strong relationships with guests, associates and key stakeholders while serving as the primary point of contact for Food & Beverage operations.
  • Ensure all company policies, procedures, food safety standards and responsible service practices are consistently upheld.

 

About you

  • Current Approved Manager's Certificate.
  • Demonstrated success leading and managing a multi-outlet Food & Beverage operation, delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining brand standards and operational excellence.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, labour costs, profitability, forecasting, inventory controls and achieving revenue targets.
  • Proven ability to develop high-performing teams through coaching, leadership development, performance management and succession planning.
  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in hospitality and business systems, including point-of-sale systems, inventory and procurement platforms, Microsoft Office applications and operational reporting tools.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A passionate hospitality leader with a hands-on approach and a commitment to creating memorable guest experiences.
