We are seeking a dynamic and accomplished Hotel General Manager to lead the #1 rated, Chairman Award winning AC Hotel by Marriott in Bridgewater, NJ. This role is ideal for a hospitality leader who brings energy, professionalism, and strategic vision—someone who inspires teams, delights guests, and drives strong financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Culture:
Create a vibrant, engaging atmosphere by leading with enthusiasm, professionalism, and authenticity.
Foster a culture of engagement at every level while attracting, developing, and retaining top hospitality talent.
Lead by example—setting high standards in appearance, behavior, and service excellence.
Empower associates to channel their passion and enthusiasm to positively influence guests and colleagues.
Build meaningful connections with guests by being thoughtful, adaptable, and present.

Guest Experience & Operations:
Consistently exceed guest expectations through exceptional service and memorable experiences.
Maintain a spotless, well-maintained, and brand-compliant property.
Actively engage with guests to gather feedback, strengthen relationships, and enhance satisfaction.
Ensure full compliance with Marriott brand standards and service behaviors.

Financial Performance:
Prepare and execute annual operating budgets, sales, and marketing plans to achieve targeted results.
Analyze financial performance to drive revenue growth, profitability, and return on investment.
Leverage technology platforms and distribution channels to maximize market share.
Lead capital planning and asset management initiatives in partnership with senior leadership.

People & Talent Development:
Develop and implement programs that enhance team member engagement and performance.
Establish succession planning to build a strong leadership pipeline.
Set clear performance and development goals; provide ongoing mentoring, coaching, and feedback.
Oversee staffing, compensation, and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies.

Responsible Business & Community Engagement:
Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, associates, and hotel assets.
Serve as a brand ambassador and public relations representative within the local community.
Encourage and support team involvement in community organizations and initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:
Required: Previous Hotel General Manager experience, or 3+ years as an Assistant General Manager at a Marriott or branded property.
Preferred: Prior brand experience.
Plus: Previous experience in the local or similar market.

The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 annually
