Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead operations at our beautiful, and newly renovated, 93-unit Residence Inn extended-stay hotel located in “Everyone’s Hometown”, Prescott, Arizona. Prescott offers big city amenities while maintaining our small-town charm. Our mile-high elevation offers four mild seasons with an average annual temperature of 72 degrees! In addition to the wonderful Prescott lifestyle, you’ll also be joining a supportive and former Hotel of the Year for the Residence Inn brand. award-winning leadership team at Ponderosa Hotels.
In this role, you will oversee all aspects of hotel performance, including guest satisfaction, financial results, team development, and brand compliance. The ideal candidate thrives in an extended-stay/select-service environment and possesses a proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences while maximizing profitability.
The following characteristics and achievements will make you a preferred candidate:
•Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field
•3-5 years of experience as a General Manager or in a senior hotel leadership role
•Previous Marriott leadership experience highly preferred
•Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, financials, and industry best practices
•Proven results in driving financial results and high guest satisfaction
•Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
•Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
•Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., FOSSE, MGS or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
•Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
