THE OPPORTUNITY
 
This is more than a Hotel General Manager position.
 
It’s an opportunity to lead the repositioning of an already successful Marriott hotel into the premier select-service hotel in the Texarkana market.
 
You’ll work alongside experienced ownership and executive leadership during a substantial renovation designed to elevate every aspect of the guest experience while preserving the operational excellence that guests expect from the Marriott brand.

You are passionate about developing people, driving financial performance, delivering exceptional guest satisfaction, and creating a culture where accountability and hospitality thrive together.

Experience leading renovations, property improvement plans, operational turnarounds, or hotel repositioning efforts is highly desirable.
 
Candidates from other major hotel brands—including Hilton, Hyatt, and IHG—are encouraged to apply if they bring a strong operational background, a proven history of success, and the ability to quickly learn Marriott systems and culture.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
 
As Hotel General Manager, you will provide leadership in every aspect of hotel operations, including:
 
Guest satisfaction and service excellence
Financial performance and profitability
Revenue growth and market share
Team member recruitment, coaching, and development
Brand compliance and quality assurance
Property maintenance and asset preservation
Successful execution of the upcoming Property Improvement Plan
Community involvement and local business development
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum three years of successful Hotel General Manager experience in a branded hotel environment
  • Marriott select-service experience strongly preferred
  • Proven success achieving guest satisfaction and financial performance goals
  • Strong understanding of hotel P&L management, labor productivity, and revenue optimization
  • Demonstrated ability to build and retain exceptional teams
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead through change while maintaining exceptional guest and associate experiences
