POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Graphic Designer plays a key role in shaping the visual identity of W Doha across all touchpoints. This position is responsible for creating compelling, brand-aligned designs that elevate the hotel’s marketing campaigns, digital presence, and guest experiences. The designer will collaborate closely with the Marketing team to produce high-impact visuals for social media, print, digital advertising, in-house collateral, and event branding. The role requires a strong understanding of luxury lifestyle aesthetics, attention to detail, and the ability to translate creative concepts into engaging visual content that reflects W Doha’s bold and vibrant personality. 

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other talents. Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Department Head.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Development

  • Designs and produces a wide range of visual content including digital graphics, print collateral, social media assets, and event branding.
  • Ensures all creative output aligns with W Hotels brand guidelines and W Doha’s unique positioning.
  • Develops and updates visual materials to reflect seasonal campaigns, activations, and promotions.

Brand Execution

  • Owns the visual direction and execution of design projects from concept to final delivery.
  • Collaborates with Marketing Communications and operational departments to deliver cohesive, on-brand creative solutions.
  • Maintains consistency in visual identity across all platforms and materials.

Project Management

  • Manages timelines and deliverables for multiple design projects simultaneously.
  • Communicates progress and updates regularly to the Marketing team and stakeholders.
  • Maintains organized archives of design files and project documentation.

Production & Technical Execution

  • Executes production tasks including image editing, layout design, retouching, and file preparation for print and digital use.
  • Troubleshoots design and production issues as needed.

Guest & Brand Insight

  • Understands W Doha’s guest demographics and tailors design aesthetics to resonate with target audiences.
  • Supports the creation of promotional materials that enhance guest engagement and brand perception.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provides support for urgent design needs and escalated requests via email or internal channels.
  • Shares visual trend insights and design performance reports with the Marketing team.

Performs other duties as assigned by management, in line with the role’s capabilities
