As the Sales Manager, you will:
Qualifications -
- 3+ years group hotel sales experience is required, preferably within a full-service or upscale hotel environment.
- Demonstrated experience selling group rooms, meetings, conferences, events, and associated food and beverage revenue.
- Experience working with a hotel offering 20,000+ square feet of meeting and event space is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to prospect, develop, negotiate, and close group business while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Strong understanding of the hotel sales process, including RFPs, contracting, room blocks, site inspections, account management, and revenue optimization.
- Ability to effectively sell a complex hotel product with multiple meeting spaces, guestroom options, food and beverage outlets, and event experiences.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Catering, Operations, Revenue Management, and other hotel departments to deliver a successful guest experience.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be results-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a competitive, high-volume hotel sales environment.
Ideal Candidate: A proven hotel sales professional with significant group experience who understands how to sell and maximize a large meetings-focused hotel while driving guestrooms, meeting space, and food and beverage revenue.
