Head Bartender 
Role Overview 

The Head Bartender at W Lounge oversees all bar operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, flawless beverage execution, and smooth daily performance. This role combines leadership, creativity, and financial responsibility

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the bar team, ensuring 5-star service standards. 
  • Prepare and deliver premium cocktails and spirits with consistent quality. 
  • Develop seasonal menus and signature drinks aligned with hotel brand standards. 
  • Manage inventory, ordering, stock rotation, and beverage cost control.
  • Monitor daily opening and closing procedures and ensure full compliance with hotel standards.
  • Perform daily financial closing, reconcile POS transactions, and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Maintain bar cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with safety and alcohol regulations.
  • Provide personalised guest service, handle VIPs, and resolve issues professionally.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to continuously elevate guest experience. 
  • Represent W Lounge in cocktail competitions and Beverage Events

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years’ experience in luxury hospitality bar roles. Experience with LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) standards is highly appreciated.
  • Strong mixology skills and extensive knowledge of premium beverages. 
  • Experience with POS systems and financial procedures. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and guest-service skills.
  • European Passport or Dutch Work Permit is mandatory!
  • Able to work in different shifts and days.
