Role Overview

The Heavenly Spa by Westin is a serene oasis nestled in the heart of Brisbane City. Unwind in tranquil relaxation pods, indulge in rejuvenating facials, soothing massages, and revitalizing body treatments—all thoughtfully crafted to calm the mind and awaken the senses. Extend your visit by enjoying the luxurious resort-style pool and steam room.

Embark on your journey with us as a Spa Host at the Heavenly Spa by Westin. In this role, you will oversee the seamless delivery of spa services, including managing salon programs, handling reservations, and operating the reception desk. Your focus will be on ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving retail sales success.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome all guests to the Heavenly Spa or Westin Workout Wellness areas, ensuring a warm and professional first impression.
  • Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring exceptional service at all times.
  • Perform reception duties, including checking in guests for the spa, managing reservations, and answering inquiries in line with department policies and 5-star etiquette.
  • Maintain and update the schedule regularly, ensuring all service bookings are confirmed and properly documented.
  • Assist therapists with room preparation and turnaround to ensure smooth operations between treatments.
  • Confirm guest appointments by calling to verify details such as date, type, time, and preferences for scheduled services.
  • Provide information about available services to guests, helping them select the most appropriate options.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the spa, wellness areas, and equipment, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding company and guest information at all times.

 

About you

  • Less than 1 year of experience in a related work environment.
  • High School Senior Certificate or equivalent.
  • Confident in upselling and promoting retail products and spa services.
  • Passionate about the spa industry with a desire to grow and learn.
  • Flexible availability to work on a 7-day rotating roster, including evenings, early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of relevant experience, strong communication skills (both verbal and written), excellent attention to detail, and a vibrant, engaging personality.
