The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor – Late Shift is responsible for overseeing evening housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, safety, and readiness of all assigned rooms, cleanliness of all public area’s extra requests, organization of all housekeeping designated offices and storage rooms.
This role supervises housekeeping staff during evening hours, inspects completed work, coordinates shift assignments, and responds to urgent cleaning and delivery requests. Ensure a smooth, detailed and all preparations for handover to shift operations is prepared.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise housekeeping staff during late shift operations.
- Assign nightly cleaning schedules, priorities, and work areas.
- Inspect guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, hallways, and assigned areas for cleanliness and presentation.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed according to company standards and timelines.
- Respond to urgent housekeeping requests, spills, sanitation issues, special cleaning needs and office checks.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and staff performance during shift hours.
- Train and coach staff on cleaning procedures, equipment usage, and safety practices.
- Maintain adequate stock of linen, cleaning supplies, and housekeeping equipment for the next shift.
- Report maintenance concerns, hazards, or repair issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation, infection control, and workplace safety standards.
- Complete shift reports, document handover notes, collect delivery notes, and if incident documentation.
- Support emergency cleaning needs with other departments if needed in the public area
- Foster teamwork, accountability, and quality service.
The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain impeccably clean guest rooms and public areas, support smooth hotel operations during each shift, and contribute to an exceptional guest experience that ensures guest satisfaction.

- High level in German (B2)
- Swiss B or C permit OR EU citizenship
