We’re seeking an experienced, visionary, and hands-on Hotel Manager to join our opening team, lead the day-to-day operations of our brand-new Le Meridien Pinnacle in downtown San Diego. This is a rare opportunity to be part of building a team from the ground up—shaping the guest experience and bringing a new hospitality destination to life. The hotel features 239 guestrooms, 10,000 sq ft of function space, restaurant, and lounge.
 
About the Role:
 
The Hotel Manager reports to the General Manager and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and staff management. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a proven track record in hotel management.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the hotel to ensure efficiency and high-quality guest experiences
  • Manage budgets, financial reports, and cost controls
  • Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company regulations
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase occupancy, revenue, and customer satisfaction
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to promote the hotel
  • Monitor and manage online reviews and reputation
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an executive level hotel management position at a premium branded property (GM/AGM/DOO).
  • Experience in managing a Marriott branded property, and all Marriott systems
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, and F&B
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences and meeting financial targets
  • Familiarity with PMS and hotel technology systems
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality or Hotel Management an asset.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Greater San Diego and Southern California market.
  • Hotel opening experience highly preferred

  • Weekends as needed
  • Work Location: In person
Competitive salary + performance bonus + benefits. Starting at $110,000-$120,000
 
The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $120,000 annually.
