Housekeeping Intern (Maldivian)

Program Overview:

Build upon your classroom studies through our Hotel Internship Program, designed to provide Maldivian students with hands-on exposure to hotel operations. As a Housekeeping Intern, you will gain first-hand experience in one of the most critical departments of hotel operations—where service excellence, attention to detail, and guest satisfaction come together.

This internship offers a ground-up understanding of the hospitality industry, reflecting the journey of many of our leaders who began their careers in hotel operations. You will be immersed in the company culture, standards, and service values while discovering your passion within the travel and hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support daily housekeeping operations in guest rooms and public areas
  • Assist with room cleaning, turndown services, and linen management under supervision
  • Learn and follow brand standards, hygiene, and safety procedures
  • Report maintenance issues and guest requests promptly
  • Support inventory control and proper handling of housekeeping supplies
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure high levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
  • Participate in departmental training and learning activities
Learning Outcomes:
  • Gain practical exposure to luxury hotel housekeeping operations in six months.
  • Understand hotel service standards and quality expectations
  • Develop teamwork, time management, and communication skills
  • Build a strong foundation for a career in hospitality
Candidate Profile:
  • Maldivian national
  • Currently enrolled in a recognized college or university (Hospitality or related field preferred)
  • Passionate about hospitality and service excellence
  • Willing to learn, adaptable, and positive in attitude
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Physically fit to perform housekeeping duties
