POSITION SUMMARY

Housekeeping Storekeeper

Receive, unload, and process deliveries.  Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs.  Work with suppliers to resolve discrepancies between invoices and actual received merchandise.  Conduct inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs.  Inspect deliveries and date times to verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality throughout case lots.  Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.  Monitor PAR levels for all items to ensure proper levels.  Complete and maintain required departmental paperwork.  Operate forklift/pallet jack.  Maintain and organize all received pallets until product is “broken down”, removed, stacked and/or stored.  

Qualified candidates will have:
•             Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing 
•             Excellent Customer Service skills
•             Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service 
•             Receiving all housekeeping items and verifying quantity received with quantity invoiced. 
•             Filling and maintaining the required inventory levels while keeping storage area clean and up to fire safety codes
•             Monthly supply and equipment inventory 
•             Assist with the room turn and various other department requests when necessary
•             Able to operate a forklift; have valid drivers license or the ability to obtain a Cayman Islands Drivers License
•             Full working knowledge with computers, including Excel and Microsoft Word and Outlook
•             Able to reach, bend, twist, pull, and stoop; grasp, turn, and manipulate objects
•             Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps; move, lift, or carry objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds.
•             Able to work with a minimum supervision
