POSITION SUMMARY

This position requires the flexibility to work variable shifts including Evenings and PM Shifts, and it may also require the Deep Cleaning of Public Areas.

Responsible for the uncompromising levels of cleanliness found in all areas of the hotel, ensuring our guests experience a warm, relaxed yet refined ambiance during their stay.  Clean and maintain all corridors, elevators, landings, and service areas on guest room floors, ensuring hotel's standards of cleanliness.  Provide linen supplies for Room Attendants and stock floor closets with Linen and Supplies. Deliver and retrieve items requested by guests and Night Manager. Shift varies and may include overnight shift.

The ideal Candidate must have:
•    Previous experience in Housekeeping.
•    Previous experience in floor care treatment.
•    Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance and above 80 pounds with the assistance of others and/or equipment. Pull and push heavy objects. 
•    Previous experience in carpet cleaning and handling cleaning carpet machines preferred. 
•    Flexibility on the schedule and able to work different shifts. 
•    Knowledge of proper chemical handling. 
•    Prior guest relations training.
•     High school graduate or equivalent vocational training preferred
