Position Summary
The HR Project Manager will work closely with the Director, Human Resources to help put the HR strategy into practice. The role combines hands-on HR work with project coordination, recruitment support, performance management, and continuous improvement of HR processes.

As HR Project Manager, you will support the HR team in delivering reliable HR services while also helping to move important HR initiatives forward. The role acts as deputy to the HR Manager and provides support across key HR topics when needed.

Scope

  • Location: Berlin
  • Language Requirements: Fluent in English and German
  • Work Model: Onsite
  • Contract Type: Fixed-term until 31 December 2027
  • Please note that we are unable to provide relocation or visa support for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Director, Human Resources in translating HR priorities into clear actions, timelines, and follow-up.
  • Coordinate selected HR projects and ensure tasks, owners, and next steps are clearly tracked.
  • Act as deputy to the HR Manager and support operational HR topics when required.
  • Support the Director, Human Resources in improving development processes and ensuring alignment with the broader HR strategy.
  • Support core employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employee changes, documentation, and offboarding.
  • Support recruitment processes from job briefing to offer stage, including coordination with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Contribute to a positive and professional candidate and onboarding experience.
  • Support the annual performance management process, including communication, tracking, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Help managers and employees understand performance timelines, expectations, and required steps.
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and support data quality in HR systems.
  • Prepare HR reports, overviews, presentations, and tracking documents as needed.
  • Support audits, internal reviews, and HR compliance documentation.
  • Work closely with the HR team, hiring managers, Finance, IT, Legal, external providers, and Marriott contacts where relevant.
  • Ensure clear communication, reliable follow-up, and structured stakeholder alignment across HR topics.

Candidate Profile & Experience

Experience

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on HR experience, ideally in a generalist or HR operations role.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating HR projects.
  • Good understanding of recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Experience working with managers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in an international environment is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and German.
