POSITION SUMMARY

The IT Coordinator provides first-level technical support and assists in maintaining the hotel's IT systems, networks, hardware, software, and guest technology platforms. The role ensures reliable, secure, and efficient technology operations that support hotel associates, guest satisfaction, and business continuity while contributing to system administration, asset management, training, and technology improvement initiatives.
 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and communication issues.
  • Support the operation and maintenance of hotel IT systems and guest technology services.
  • Assist with system administration, software updates, and hardware deployments.
  • Maintain IT asset inventories and equipment records.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure technology reliability and security.
  • Support cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance requirements.
  • Deliver user training and technology guidance to associates.
  • Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, brand standards, and regulatory requirements.
     

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in IT support, help desk, systems administration, or hospitality technology.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking, and business applications.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, IT service management practices, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is advantageous.
