JOB SUMMARY


The Manager, Learning & Development (L&D) Operations drives the deployment and adoption of the Power of M initiative across Greater China’s managed and franchised hotels. The role serves as the bridge between global strategy and regional execution to ensure hotels and teams receive the right learning resources and are fully equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully adopt new systems.
This position also provides regional L&D support for Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and Hainan (HMTH), partnering closely with property L&D leaders, and above property teams to drive consistent learning execution and capability development.

Learning Readiness & Cutover Support for HTM & Shiji Communities
•    Orchestrates end‑to‑end learning readiness for cutover stages (Prepare, Ready, Launch, Sustainment, and post T+60), providing timelines, resources, and clear points of contact. 
•    Partner with Learning Technology to identify and mitigate risks related to learning assignments.
•    Facilitate workshops, webinars, and office hours to drive readiness and completion of learning-related activities deployment phases.
•    Tracks learner progress and readiness requirements, reporting on milestones to maintain deployment momentum. 


Learning Deployment & Content Integration
•    Participate in relevant Power of M learning meetings and translate key action items into Greater China execution plans.
•    Ensure all activities are sequenced in lockstep with deployment milestones.
•    Identify Greater China–specific learning needs (e.g. content, communications) and develop appropriate solutions.
•    Oversee the integration of Power of M learning content into existing curricula.
•    Engage subject matter experts and continent teams for content and curriculum reviews, including non-systems learning.  


Stakeholder Partnership & Alignment
•    Collaborate with Business Transformation Office, deployment teams, and End User Councils on learning strategies and change communications.
•    Builds alignment across global, continent, and regional stakeholders to coordinate workstreams and amplify program communications and execution in step with the broader transformation.
•    Maintain strong partnerships with GC Learning and deployment teams to support wave cutovers while balancing continent BAU learning needs.
Learning Analytics, Reporting & Measurement
•    Tracks learning readiness and adoption metrics, converting insights into timely, actionable interventions that sustain progress across deployment phases.
•    Assesses learning effectiveness, identifies improvement opportunities across communities, and provides leadership with insights via dashboards and reports.


Regional L&D Support: HMTH & Franchise
•    Onboards and partners with property level L&D leaders to ensure consistent on property training delivery and completion of learning requirements.
•    Provide regular updates to the Senior Director of HR and support annual talent program nominations.
•    Deliver regional L&D programs in English and Cantonese while supporting continent-wide initiatives.
•    Engage and maintain regular connection with property L&D leaders.

Education and Experience
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Learning & Development, or a related field. 
•    5+ years of experience in project management, change deployment, or L&D roles.
•    Experience managing large-scale learning deployments or regional training programs.

•    Effectively coordinates complex workstreams and ensures alignment across cross‑functional and above‑property stakeholder
•    Operates with clarity, focus, and adaptability in fast paced, dynamic, and evolving environments.
•    Delivers effective facilitation and presentations, with experience in both in person and virtual training.
•    Communicates clearly and concisely, with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
•    Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and LMS tools to support learning delivery and measurement.
•    Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
•    Able to travel to provide regional learning support as needed.
