Reporting to the Night Manager, this role plays a critical leadership function within our overnight operation. You will be entrusted with overseeing the hotel during the overnight hours, ensuring operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and the seamless delivery of our renowned Gold Standards. 

This position is ideally suited to an emerging hospitality leader who is ready to take the next step in their career. Through structured development, exposure to Manager on Duty responsibilities, and hands-on leadership experience, you will be supported to grow within one of the world's most respected luxury hospitality brands. 

 

Position Summary: 

  • Support the Night Manager in leading all overnight hotel operations. 
  • Act as the senior operational leader on shift when required, managing guest, associate and operational matters with confidence and professionalism. 
  • Drive a culture of service excellence, ensuring exceptional guest experiences throughout the overnight period. 
  • Manage guest arrivals, departures, requests and service recovery opportunities. 
  • Lead, coach and develop overnight associates, creating an engaged and high-performing team environment. 
  • Complete night audit and reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial controls. 
  • Maintain hotel safety, security and operational standards. 
  • Collaborate closely with operational departments to ensure seamless service delivery across the hotel. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies and the overall guest experience. 

 

About You: 

You are a hospitality professional who thrives in a luxury environment and enjoys leading from the front. 

To be successful, you will have: 

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience within Front Office, Rooms Division or Hotel Operations. 
  • Strong operational knowledge of hotel front office systems and night audit processes. 
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Proven ability to make sound decisions and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment. 
  • A genuine passion for luxury hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences. 
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with a commitment to developing others. 
  • Full Australian working rights. 
  • A current unrestricted driver's licence.
