Are you up for this?
- Handle and process reservations and inquiries from all booking channels
- Analyse and update all guest requests tailored to their individual needs
- Complete pre-arrival checks to ensure guest history is linked and all booking details are accurate
- Follow up on no-shows and late cancellations and process charges accordingly
- Proactively generate incremental revenue through upselling, promoting hotel F&B outlets, and other services and amenities, with confidence in selling room packages and higher room types
- Maintain close communication with all hotel departments to ensure a smooth guest arrival experience
- Share special guest information, preferences, and instructions within the Reservations Team and with other departments
- Assist the Reservations Manager with inventory control, including balancing inventory and managing overbooking
- Manage room block monitoring, rooming lists, pickup reporting, VIP and upgraded accommodations
Your Vibe:
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and experience using Opera PMS
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications
- Previous experience as a Reservations Agent is preferred
