The Reservations Executive – Tier One serves as a primary point of contact for guest bookings and inquiries. Reporting to the Complex Reservations Manager, this role is essential for driving property revenue through effective sales techniques and high-quality customer service
Key Responsibilities
- Reservation Management: Processing all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
- Guest Communication: Answering telephones within three rings with professional etiquette and engaging guests regarding property services and local attractions.
- Sales & Revenue: Utilizing up-selling techniques to maximize room rates and property revenue by matching guest needs with the appropriate room types.
- Information Accuracy: Verifying all booking details with callers, including guarantee and cancellation policies, to ensure seamless guest arrivals.
Key Requirements
- Experience:
- 1–2 years in reservations, front office, or customer service or related work experience.
- Education: Diploma in Tourism/ Hospitality Operations or Certificate in Front Office/ Reservations or Tourism Operations
- Key Skills:
- Communication: Basic to medium proficiency in the English language (reading, writing, and speaking) with a high level of articulation
- Interpersonal Excellence: A positive demeanor with a focus on teamwork, diversity relations, and active listening to resolve guest concerns.
- Technical: Ability to input and access data in reservation systems, including managing Marriott Rewards information and specialized rate codes
- Attributes: High level of integrity, accountability, and a positive demeanor.
