Who are we looking for…?

Are you an organized, detail-driven and operationally focused professional? As a Rooms Controller, you will play a key role at the heart of our rooms operations. You will coordinate daily room assignments, ensuring every detail aligns with guest needs, preferences and expectations. If you enjoy planning, accuracy, cross-department communication and the satisfaction of flawless operations, we would be delighted to meet you!

Your responsibilities will include…
  • Managing and optimizing daily room allocations, ensuring preferences, special requests and priorities are properly addressed.
  • Working closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations and other departments to ensure seamless operations and a flawless guest experience.
  • Monitoring room status (clean, inspected, out of order, occupied) and ensuring real-time accuracy across internal systems.
  • Anticipating daily operational needs, especially during high occupancy, VIP arrivals, peak arrivals/departures and special events.
  • Ensuring VIP room preparation meets The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards.
  • Reviewing and resolving discrepancies between Housekeeping and Front Office systems quickly and accurately.
  • Strategically coordinating room upgrades based on availability, guest profiles and revenue opportunities.
  • Participating in daily hotel operational briefings, providing key insights on room inventory.
  • Facilitating effective communication across departments to avoid delays, inconsistencies or operational challenges.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, confidentiality and attention to detail in all records and processes.
What we are looking for…
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Previous experience in Front Office, Housekeeping coordination, Rooms Control or similar hotel operations roles.
  • Proficiency with hotel management systems (Opera or similar PMS is a strong advantage).
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages, especially German, are highly valued.
  • A proactive team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Valid work permit for Spain.
