About the Role

  • Support the Sales & Marketing team by performing a wide range of administrative and office duties that enhance overall sales operations.
  • Prepare and process key sales documents—such as proposals, contracts, agreements, and banquet event orders—throughout the sales cycle.
  • Promote and reinforce the brand image through consistent communication and professional representation to internal teams and external clients.
  • Compile, organize, and package sales materials, including brochures, promotional content, and client information kits.
  • Apply effective sales techniques to optimize revenue opportunities while cultivating and maintaining strong guest and client loyalty to Marriott.
  • Enter, update, reconcile, and verify sales data across relevant systems and software to ensure accuracy throughout the sales process.
  • Respond to client and guest inquiries regarding property facilities, services, and sales offerings.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing communication via phone and email to address questions, provide information, and support their requests.
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests in alignment with company standards; anticipate needs, deliver exceptional service, and express genuine appreciation for their business.
  • Communicate professionally and clearly in all interactions; prepare accurate written correspondence; and handle phone communications with proper sales etiquette.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues; collaborate effectively to achieve shared sales goals; and respond proactively to team concerns and needs.

 

Preferred Candidate:

  • Sales & Marketing experience.
  • May be required to work on Saturday or Sunday when required.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft office.
  • Preferred knowledge of Opera.
  • Demonstrates interpersonal skills, team work, customer service and able to manage diverse relationships
  • English Language Proficiency
  • Impeccable communication across all levels and presentation.
  • Detail orientated, able to effectively manage time and multiple tasks.   
  • Reliable, positive, adaptably and able to operate in a highly functioning team
