Senior Manager - Procurement

Job Summary:             

The Sr Manager, reports to the Director of Procurement and collaborates with Continent Lodging Product Services (CLPS) and Discipline Teams to develop and implement strategies that enhance the customer experience through innovative Operating Supplies & Equipment (OS&E). As a member of the CALA Procurement Team, the Sr Manager will focus on contributing to influencing discipline operating standards for both food and non-food related commodities.  This role supports the vision to deliver innovative products and services across the portfolio through contracted suppliers, while also ensuring brand distinction and support of each brand’s unique culture resulting in enhanced guest experiences and increased Guest Voice scores. 

              

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Procurement and  the Continent Lodging Product Services Teams, and other senior leaders to operationalize and monitor the OS&E strategy standards for new properties, with a focus on Growth. 
  • Consolidates existing vendor base to leverage volume and drive compliance to strategic partners
  • Source and Identify cutting-edge OS&E that aligns with current trends, brand vision and enhances the guest experience.
  • Identify high-value projects that increase revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction based on key performance metrics.
  • The Sr Manager plays a crucial role in sourcing new Products that ultimately contribute to the overall performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and innovation.
  • Drive compliance through contracted vendors to maximize compliance to contracted vendors and generate ROI to Hotels and Owners.
  • Responsible for driving Brand standards for food and non-food concepts to include sharing such standards with CALA Procurement Director, for supplier negotiations.

              

Cost Recovery Process:

  • In return for Sr Managers performance, additional revenue (fees / rebates) will be generated to cover the costs
  • Additionally, no additional cost to the Hotels. CALA Procurement will support the Sr Managers through the value generated from projects and new openings
  • Sr Managers performance and contribution will periodically be reviewed to ensure ROI is met.
