POSITION SUMMARY
At W Ibiza, our Away® Spa is an intimate, high-energy wellness space where luxury meets lifestyle. As Spa Trainee, you will be at the intersection of wellness, guest experience, and lifestyle activation, playing an active role both inside the spa and in the heart of the hotel.
This role goes beyond traditional spa operations: you will be a spa ambassador, engaging guests in the lobby, promoting treatments and fitness experiences, and helping position the spa as a key part of the W Ibiza journey.
- Deliver all guest interactions and services in full compliance with Luxury Quality Assurance (LQA) standards, ensuring a consistent, refined, and personalized luxury experience at all times.
- Demonstrate and actively apply comprehensive knowledge of the hotel, Marriott Bonvoy program, on-property services, outlets, and current events to accurately inform, anticipate, and enhance the guest experience.
- Support Luxury spa operations within a boutique, lifestyle hotel
- Guest engagement and experience-driven sales
- Lobby activation and on-property marketing
- LQA service standards and luxury hospitality etiquette
- Cross-department collaboration in a 5-star environment
- Handle spa reservations and scheduling using hotel systems (Opera, Book4time)
- Welcome guests and ensure all interactions meet LQA and W service standards
- Maintain excellent knowledge of spa treatments, wellness concepts, and retail products
- Participate in lobby activations, including a dedicated spa promotional stand
- Collaborate with Welcome Office / Guest Services to cross-promote spa offerings
- Work with Marketing & Guest Experience teams to attract in-house and external guests
- Promote hotel sports and wellness activities
- Student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Wellness, Sports, Tourism, or Business
- Strong interest in wellness, fitness, spa, and lifestyle hospitality
- Confident communicator with a natural guest-engagement style
- Work in a luxury lifestyle resort with a strong international reputation
- Gain hands-on exposure to spa, guest experience, sales, and marketing
- Be part of a creative, dynamic, and people-driven culture
