POSITION SUMMARY

The Spa Guest Service Assistant is responsible for delivering professional, relaxing, and therapeutic massage treatments that reflect the wellness philosophy, service culture, and quality standards of Marriott International and Sheraton Resort & Spa, Tokoriki Island. This role ensures each guest receives a personalized and memorable spa experience that promotes relaxation, wellbeing, and rejuvenation in a tranquil island setting.

The Spa Guest Service Assistant provides clear and welcoming spa orientation to guests as needed, explains treatments and spa facilities, and ensures guests feel comfortable and well cared for before, during, and after services. Treatments are delivered according to approved spa protocols, hygiene standards, and safety guidelines, with careful attention to guest preferences, comfort, privacy, and feedback.

In addition to performing treatments, the Spa Guest Service Assistant maintains cleanliness and presentation of treatment rooms, equipment, and work areas, manages linens and supplies, and follows proper sanitation and operational procedures. The role supports daily spa operations by monitoring schedules, preparing treatment areas, securing equipment, and ensuring supplies are stocked and ready for service.

The Spa Guest Service Assistant upholds a professional appearance and conduct at all times, follows all company policies and safety standards, protects guest confidentiality and company assets, and works collaboratively with the spa and resort team.

Flexibility, strong communication skills, physical stamina, and a genuine passion for guest wellbeing are essential to delivering exceptional spa experiences within the unique environment of a remote island luxury resort.
