POSITION SUMMARY

 

Monitor property grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance. Maintain the appearance of fountains, planters, or other grounds features by cleaning, replacing or making repairs. Install new flowers, bulbs, grass, trees, and shrubs. Maintain flower beds, baskets, and boxes by watering, removing weeds, trimming, and performing other maintenance. Replace and transplant trees, flowers, and shrubs. Maintain trees and shrubs by trimming and pruning. Trim and edge grass in areas that mowers cannot reach. Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, raking leaves, and performing other lawn maintenance. Install, maintain, and operate irrigation systems. Remove and bag trash from all exterior trash cans. Operate dump trucks, tractors, trucks, or utility vehicles to transport equipment, supplies, materials, and debris. Wash, clean, and re-fuel all equipment after use.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create high-quality wooden artworks, decorative carvings, and customized curved designs
  • Interpret design concepts, sketches, or client requests into finished wooden pieces
  • Operate hand tools and power tools such as chisels, carving knives, sanders, and shaping tools
  • Shape, smooth, and finish wood using sanding, polishing, and coating techniques
  • Select appropriate wood types based on design requirements
  • Ensure precision, symmetry, and accuracy in curved and carved designs
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace following safety standards
  • Repair or restore existing wooden art pieces when required
  • Collaborate with designers, carpenters, or clients to finalize design outcomes
  • Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

License or Certification: Valid Driver’s License
